Sheila Adkins, MS, CPTD

Founder & CEO of Swim to the Sky

Sheila is a Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) and a nationally recognized facilitator, consultant, and talent development leader. With more than 20 years of experience, she has worked across many sectors - banking, retail, education, healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing, call centers, and non-profit. She is an expert in business and performance analysis, developing organizational cohesion, and managing change influences. With extensive knowledge in adult learning, professional development, and succession planning, she has proven success partnering with organizations to align their vision to talent development strategies.

 

Sheila holds a BA in Business-Economics and an MS in Adult and Higher Education. She is a Certified Facilitator for Everything DiSC® Workplace through Wiley, a Certified Level 1 Facilitator for Compassionate Integrity Training through Life University’s Center for Compassion, Integrity, and Secular Ethics, and has achieved various certifications in virtual facilitation, training delivery, e-learning instructional design, and evaluating learning impact.

 

Sheila is committed to servant leadership in her community by partnering with non-profit organizations dedicated to youth leadership, economic development, and serving the greater needs of others. She is dedicated to supporting people to recognize and build their own capacity, knowledge, and experience to transform all aspects of their life.
